[How did we get here?]

Conceived of as I was driving home from SocialMedia Breakfast Austin put on by Brian Person.

Bought 10 minutes later. Along with (iconnector.me and iamconnector.com)

My question is, “what’s the frequency kenneth?” Do you ask “What’s the link?” Or do you ask “What’s the URL?” (First thought?) I have started asking, “What’s the URL and I wonder if anyone owns… iam.com or iama.com or…” (and so it goes)

Now with the awesomeness of WordPress v2.7 and above, launching an idea sites takes me about 10 minutes. (That’s literally from idea to launch.) I wrote a post yesterday after giving my buddy the WordPress tools I use. That’s the spirit of this site. Share and share alike: connections, tools, ideas, relationships. And if you are into the idea, you can share the leadership of this site.

Open social means anyone is free to become an author to write, edit, and post pages about their events. Ping me at the email below and let me know you want in. Easy as that.

So I-AM-A-CONNECTOR.COM is an idea site.

And in 5 or 10 minutes I’m going to invite everyone who was associated with the Social Media Breakfast today, and ask them to add their information. I’ll do the pre-pop of a page or so, but I’d like folks to “connect.”

We’ll see.

As a friend told me just a minute ago: 1. you have the ability to connect; 2. you are passionate; 3. you know how to take action!
